If you accept analytics cookies, the Site collects information about your visit through Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization: pages viewed, time on page, device and browser, approximate geographic area, source of the visit, interactions with the newsletter call-to-action.

Newsletter subscription

If you submit your email to subscribe to "The Cultural Journey Gourmet" newsletter, you are redirected to Substack, which acts as an independent data controller. Your email is processed by Substack Inc. under its own privacy policy.

Contact via email

If you write to the email address above, your email and its content are processed for the sole purpose of replying to your request.

3. Legal basis and purposes

• Analytics — consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Withdrawable at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
• Newsletter — consent, managed by Substack.
• Email replies — legitimate interest in responding to your message (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

4. Data retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Emails are retained for the time strictly necessary to handle the conversation.

5. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA

Data may be processed by the following third parties:

• Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — transfers outside the EEA are governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• HubSpot, Inc. (CRM, only if you submit the newsletter form) — your email is stored as a contact in our CRM. See HubSpot's privacy policy.
• Substack Inc. (newsletter, only if you subscribe) — see Substack's privacy policy.

Under GDPR (Art. 15–22) you may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and request portability. To exercise these rights write to info@mangomobi.com.
